E.A.S.Y. CAMPAIGN
As university students, we are living our best lives—but one day, we will be paying our own electricity bills. Saving electricity is not just about saving money; it is about protecting the planet, and every bit of electricity we save helps preserve a better environment for our own and future generations.
You may not be sure “WATT can I do.” as a student. No worries, the “E.A.S.Y.” campaign will equip you with simple and actionable tips through a series of fun games, short quizzes and resource banks. Complete all four challenges with correct answers for a chance to win amazing prizes!
With a few simple changes, you can save electricity, help the Earth, and feel great doing it. It’s a win-win for you and the planet!
It’s E.A.S.Y. - Electricity Awareness Starts with You!
Join the E.A.S.Y. Campaign
The E.A.S.Y. campaign aims to inspire students to make small incremental changes to help save electricity! Running from 28 March 2025 – 30 April 2025, let’s find out “WATT” you can do!
Check out the guidebook for ideas on "WATT" you can do! Dive into the journey of our fellow university classmates Jack and Sam to see how old habits can be easily adjusted without significantly sacrificing their usual practices. Along the way, you will discover some interesting myths and facts that will stimulate your thoughts.
How You Can Take Part
A. Individual Challenge
Complete the below four (4) challenges before 30 April 2025 at 23:59. The higher your score, the greater your chance of winning prizes.

Make a Pledge - We have ten (10) EASY tips on the Padlet board. Get to know the YES ✅ and NO ❌, you can also share your tips on the first post to inspire your fellow classmates to adopt. To complete this task, you have to submit your pledge in this Form! ✍️ |
Grand Prizes: The highest scorers across the four challenges will get a chance to win one of the exciting grand prizes

B. Hall Challenge
An additional collaborative challenge for residents living in these halls . Your halls are equipped with smart energy meters, finish the mini quiz and understand the consumption trend of your hall. ⚡️

2️⃣ Next, adopt the E.A.S.Y. habits and encourage your neighbour to do the same! If your hall achieves the highest percentage reduction in electrictiy consumption in April 2025 compared to April 2024, among the selected peer halls at your university, all residents of the hall will receive:
- 100 Carbon Wallet points and
- A chance to win a HK$2,000 cash prize (One cash prize winner for each University)!

Eligibility
- Student from 8 UGC-funded universities (CityUHK, CUHK, EdUHK, HKBU, HKU, HKUST, LingU, and PolyU) are eligible to participate in the Individual Challenge
- Residents from this participating halls are eligible to participate in the Hall Challenge
- Students’ university email will be used to verify their identity
Terms and Conditions
- Each student is eligible to complete each quiz once. In the case of duplicate submissions, only the initial submission will be considered valid, based on the university student email address submitted
- The JCSCCP reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding the "E.A.S.Y." campaign and prize winners
