Why Conserve Electricity?

By reducing electricity consumption, we can directly mitigate the environmental impact of our energy usage, helping to combat climate change and reduce our carbon footprint. Conservation efforts are essential in promoting sustainability, transitioning towards a greener and more environmentally friendly energy landscape and benefit our next generation.

What is Smart Electricity Meter?

Real time electricity data will be measured by smart electricity meters and be accessible to the university community through the Internet of Things (IoT) data platform. The transparency of the data aims to educate the community to be conscious of their electricity consumption. Educational campaigns will be built around the data to drive behavioural change.
